Privacy and Data: How We Handle Your Content
How we access, store, and display your social media content, and your visitors' privacy.

What Data We Access
We only access the public content from your social media accounts that's needed to display your widget — posts, images, review text, star ratings, and basic profile information. We never access private messages, unpublished drafts, or personal account settings.
For platforms using OAuth (Instagram, Facebook), you can see exactly what permissions we request during the authorisation flow. All access is read-only.
Your Visitors' Privacy
When someone views your widget on your website, the widget loads content from our servers. We do not set tracking cookies on your visitors, and we do not collect personal information from people who view your embedded widgets.
If you're using widget analytics (Pro and Business plans), we collect anonymous aggregate data about widget impressions and clicks — we do not track individual visitors or collect personal data.
Data Storage
Your social media content is cached on our servers to ensure fast loading and to avoid hitting API rate limits. Content is refreshed according to your plan's refresh interval. We do not share your content with third parties.
You can disconnect your social accounts and delete your widgets at any time. When you delete a widget, all cached content associated with it is removed from our servers.
GDPR and Compliance
Social Media Feeds is designed with privacy in mind. We don't set cookies on your visitors' browsers, we don't track individuals, and we only process the minimum data necessary to deliver the service. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
