How Connections Work
Social Media Feeds connects to your social media accounts through official APIs where available. This means we never ask for your social media password — instead, you authorise access through each platform's secure login flow.
Once connected, we pull your latest content automatically. The connection stays active without any maintenance from you.
Instagram and Facebook (Meta)
Instagram and Facebook both use Meta's Graph API. When you create a widget for either platform, you'll be redirected to Meta's login page to authorise access. You'll need an Instagram Business or Creator account (not a personal account) connected to a Facebook Page.
We request read-only access to your posts and profile information. We cannot post on your behalf, modify your content, or access your private messages. Token refreshing is handled automatically behind the scenes.
Google Reviews
For Google Reviews, no OAuth connection is needed. Simply search for your business name or paste your Google Maps URL when creating your widget. We'll find your Google Business Profile and pull your public reviews automatically.
Reviews are synced based on your plan's refresh interval — daily on Free and Pro, and twice daily on Business and Agency.
LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and YouTube
For LinkedIn, provide your Company Page URL. For Twitter/X, provide your profile handle or URL. For YouTube, provide your channel URL or a specific playlist URL.
These platforms are connected through their respective APIs or public data feeds. Once set up, your content syncs automatically at the refresh interval determined by your plan.
