Customization

Customising Your Widget's Appearance

How to change layouts, colours, fonts, spacing, and borders to match your website's design.

Choosing a Layout

Social Media Feeds offers four layout options for your widgets: Card, List, Compact, and Carousel. Each works better for different use cases.

Card layout shows one post at a time with full content and details — great for reviews and text-heavy content, and also arranges nicely in columns for visual content like Instagram. List layout is compact and vertical — works well in sidebars and narrow spaces. Carousel layout creates a horizontal scrollable strip — perfect for featuring your latest content.

Colours and Background

You can customise the background colour, text colour, link colour, and accent colour of your widget. Use the colour picker on the widget settings page or enter exact hex codes to match your brand precisely.

The widget supports both light and dark colour schemes. Choose colours that complement your website's existing design so the widget feels like a native part of your site.

Fonts

Select from a range of Google Fonts to match your website's typography. The font you choose applies to all text within the widget — headings, body text, dates, and reviewer names.

If you're unsure which font to pick, use the same font family as your website's body text for a seamless visual integration.

Spacing and Borders

Adjust the padding within each post card and the gap between cards to control how dense or spacious your widget feels. You can also set the border radius to match your website — from sharp corners (0px) to fully rounded (20px+).

Use the live preview to see your changes in real time before embedding. Small adjustments to spacing and borders can make a big difference in how polished the widget looks on your site.
